Nitrous Oxide
N20!.... you may think is quite new as a performance enhancement, but it has been tracked back to World war II, where it was used in Allied aircraft to give an emergency boost in both airspeed and altitude capabilities. Now that we have the history out the way, lets talk what type of kits are out there. There are two main differences, the first N20 system being a 'Dry System' this is where only Nitrous Oxide is injected into your engine, The second system is a 'Wet system' this is where Nitrous Oxide and fuel are injected into your engine. There is many ways of injecting the N20 or N2O & fuel into your engine, by a single injector approx 3-4" away from the throttle body, Vire a 'Plate' system which as a built in injection system and is mounted in between either the Intake manifold and the engine or the Throttle body(s) and the Intake manifold (which are normally used on V8's cars with Big Carbs etc although there are a few kits available for the Japanesse models) or vier individual injects in to each Intake port on an engine.
Nitrous kits are available from 35Bhp increase to a mind bogging 1000Bhp increase

Which ones Best?
Dry System only injects N2O which means if you are going to be using a 50Bhp-up Jets ( we will come to those later) you may need to increase fuel ratio to your engine, because the N2O only helps fuel burn better ( N20 is not flammable) the engine may start to run lean where the factory carb or injection system can not supply the amount of fuel need to give a good air-to fuel mixture. This can be solved be having the ECU remapped or add an uprated fuel Supply system. On the good side these systems are vary easy to install and can be done by anyone who knows basic mechanics.
Wet System vire a single injector mounted approx 3-4 from the intake of the throttle bodies is a very easy way to solve the problem of the earlier dry system, the Injector also injects fuel at the same time as it is injecting N2O, so it's like a Fith injector on the car, it only works when you have the N20 engaged so that it helps keep the engine in the safe zone, This kit works the best for cars using upto 150Bhp jets, after this amount you may need to uprate the fuel system on the car.Again very easy to install only a few more wires and pipes to connect then the Dry system.
Direct Port System, This system as all the benefits of a wet system but the Injection method uses one Injector per Inlet port which makes for a better distribution and is the most accurate, sounds wonderful.... the main problem is the install, normally very time consuming and many pipes to connect, but the end results.....
How much increase can i Have? On all systems the injectors have small jets inside them these range from .047 to???, these deterring how much N20 or fuel is to be injected into the engine, do not worry,.. we figure out that sizes you need... . We recommend only fitting a maximum of upto 75Bhp increase on most standard engines, although on most V8's an increase of 150Bhp+ is available. If you are wanting to increase your Engine Bhp more than our recommended amount you will need to have some of your engine internal parts uprated, Quality forged aluminum pistons, forged steel rods and a forged or Billet crankshaft, plus main studs is recommended. |

What's it going to cost?
Here's two of the Nitrous oxide kits which we carry in stock, if you would like a dry system or a custom system with a 'Plate' injector please contact us and we will see what is a available for car.

'Wet System' Complete kit, include lifetime guarantee large solenoids, all wiring, Stainless steel braided N20 and fuel lines, all hardware, 10lb Pure-flo Bottle and valve. include jets fr 35Bhp to 75Bhp £620.00 |

These Kits do not include Nitrous Oxide Gas, Nitrous Oxide Gas is £4.95 per lb, (10lb bottle =£49.95). How long does it last? All depends on which jets you have installed, Our Nitroused New VW Beetle runs 50Bhp jets which we get on average 20-30 hits at 10-12seconds a hit.

Nitrous system Extras (Upgrades)

NOS Gauges, These tell you what the pressure is inside the bottle, Optimal pressure being 900psi this can go up or down depending on what the bottle temperature is, if the temp is down, you could lose 300psi which intern means, you lose sum of the Nitrous entering the engine, -= less power, this is way bottle blackets and heaters are used.
Carbon fibre and Speed glow faces are now available! |

Methano is now available,
Idea for sparying on to intercoolers reduces temperatures
and in some cases using as a fuel additive!!!
